Gottat Abu Nugar North

Глубина 7 - 13 m

The Gottat Abu Nugar North Dive Site is a captivating part of the Abu Nugar reef system located off the coast of Hurghada in the Red Sea. With depths ranging from 7 to 13 meters, this site offers an enjoyable and accessible dive while still delivering the excitement that experienced divers appreciate. Unlike typical coral gardens, Gottat Abu Nugar North features a mix of patchy coral structures, sandy stretches, and small blocks that create a unique underwater landscape. This combination of sand and reef attracts a rich variety of marine life. Divers often encounter goatfish, wrasses, snappers, anthias, sand gobies, and schools of fusiliers moving across the site. The coral heads provide shelter for moray eels, scorpionfish, and occasionally a lazy blue spotted ray resting on the bottom. The site’s gentle depth and varied topography make it perfect for slow, exploratory diving, allowing divers to enjoy Red Sea marine life up close while navigating one of the more distinctive areas of Abu Nugar.
