Red Sea Solar Eclipse Overview
On 2 August 2027, the skies over Egypt will host one of the longest total solar eclipses of the century. The Southern Red Sea lies inside the path of totality, giving divers and travelers a rare chance to witness over five minutes of darkness at midday. While Hurghada is outside the eclipse zone, this liveaboard adventure sails south to guarantee a front-row seat.
