Overview:
The Deep Diver Course in Hurghada takes certified divers beyond the standard 18-meter recreational limit, down to a maximum depth of 40 meters — the deepest a diver can go without decompression stops. Over 2 days, you'll build the skills, judgement, and confidence to plan and execute deep dives safely, while exploring dramatic drop-offs, wrecks, and reef walls most divers never see. On completion, you'll earn an internationally recognized NDL (National Dive League) Deep Diver certification.
What You'll Learn
Dive Planning & Gas Management — How to plan a deep dive from start to finish, calculate air consumption, and manage bottom time so you always surface with a safe reserve. Recognizing & Managing Nitrogen Narcosis — How increased pressure affects judgment and reaction time at depth, and the techniques to recognize and control its effects. Advanced Buoyancy Control — Fine-tuned trim and buoyancy skills for the added pressure and gas density of deeper water. Emergency Procedures for Deep Environments — Problem-solving, ascent procedures, and safety protocols specific to dives beyond 18 meters.
Course Schedule
Day 1 — Theory & First Deep Dives: Classroom session covering pressure, gas laws, and dive planning, followed by two supervised dives introducing depths beyond 18 meters. Day 2 — Applied Skills & Certification Dives: Two further dives applying gas management, buoyancy, and emergency-procedure skills at depths approaching 40 meters, followed by your final theory review and NDL certification.
